In-home service

Call-out Charge

Added to each call. Covers travel and initial consultation.
Major Task

Examples: operating system service, malware removal, 1.5 hour training, setting up a network or backup, configuring a smart-TV system with training.
Small Task

Something that would normally take less than an hour — setting up a wireless router, a basic software tune-up (no updates needed).
Minor Task

Something that should take less than half an hour — adding another computer, device, console, or smart-TV to an existing network, connecting a wireless printer.

No service call charge. Billed at end of call. The price is the lower of the standard price for the service requested or:

Consulting & web
General Projects
Standard pricing for web sites and consulting projects. Web site work and larger projects are billed on the following scale, which automatically discounts larger projects. Parts, materials and service fees are quoted and billed separately. Large jobs will always be billed the best price — the hourly or task price, whichever is less.

Pre-paid Service Gift Certificates
Available for standard services. Known prices mean that gift certificates may be purchased to pre-pay, including the house call. GST is charged on gift certificates so the recipient has no extra charges.
Computer Tune-up

Fixes most malware, virus and configuration issues on one computer.
Backup and Reset

Backup files, wipe computer and restore files. May also be used to set up a new computer and transfer files from an old system.
